Sonya Huntington

Sonya graduated from The University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years with the majority being in pharmaceutical and medical radiology imaging.

Sonya and her husband, Jon, enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to comedy shows and movies, discovering new restaurants, traveling to new destinations, and spoiling their 9-year-old Lhasa Apso Poodle mix, Sofie Jo.

In her spare time, Sonya enjoys having creative outlets like listening to music, painting, dancing, and isn’t embarrassed to admit that she likes watching silly reality TV shows like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her absolute favorite thing to do is attend concerts! Greatest so far: Tom Petty, Tina Turner, Rolling Stones, & Foo Fighters although Stevie Nicks and Chris Stapleton are on her bucket list.

Sonya is an advocate for all patients and believes there is no better place for healing than at home and is always looking for novel ways to assist patients in getting the healthcare they need and deserve.

Sonya is thrilled to be a part of the Axiva Family and looks forward to connecting with everyone!

Specialty Infusion Care, When and Where You Need it.

At Axiva, we have intake specialists, registered pharmacists and nurses who specialize in providing world-class care to our patients. We have administered hundreds of Ig treatments to patients in the comfort and convenience of their own homes. All patients are carefully screened to determine if home administration is safe and appropriate for their individual needs. A nurse monitors all home treatments continuously.
