Here are some answers to some of the most common questions asked of our staff:

Our prescription processing time at Axiva is normally less than 24 hours if prescriptions do not require insurance authorization. We then ship your medication by overnight delivery or, if you are close to one of our pharmacies, home delivery may also be available. This means you could get your prescription within 48 hours. Our team will call you to coordinate your delivery at a time that works for you. If your insurance requires authorization, or processing time is longer than 24 hours due to drug availability, we will call you to discuss options so that you don’t go without your medicine.

Axiva will take care of this for you. We will communicate with your insurance and your doctor as most specialty drugs require a prior authorization. Your insurance company will want documentation before they will cover a high-cost drug. We will call you as soon as we have results on this process.

Your doctor may fax a new prescription to us at 844-440-0101. We are also able to help. Our intake coordinators will ask for the name of your medication and your physician’s full contact information. A licensed, Axiva pharmacist will contact your doctor on your behalf.
